Pairing Sample Kits with Letter Templates

You can link a sample kit to a letter template so that every order using that kit automatically includes a personalized letter. This is useful for standardizing the messaging that goes out with specific sample sets.

How to pair a sample kit with a letter template

  1. Go to Samples > Sample Kits.
  2. Edit the kit you want to pair (or create a new one).
  3. In the kit settings, select a Letter Template from the dropdown.
  4. Save the kit.

What happens when the kit is ordered

When someone adds this kit to an order, the linked letter template is automatically selected. The letter is generated with variable substitution (recipient name, company, sales rep name, order details) and included with the shipment.

Overriding the template

The person creating the order can still change or remove the letter template before submitting. The kit pairing sets a default, not a requirement.

Prerequisites
