When your CRM is connected, you can search for contacts and companies directly from within SampleHQ. This saves time when creating orders and ensures you are using accurate customer data.
Searching contacts
When creating an order, the customer details step includes a CRM search field. Type a contact name, company name, or email to search your CRM. Select a result to auto-fill the customer details and shipping address.
What you can search
- Contacts by name or email
- Companies by name
- Deals by name or number
Editing CRM data
If the address or contact details pulled from your CRM are outdated or incorrect, you can edit them directly in SampleHQ. After making changes, the updated information is pushed back to your CRM record so it stays accurate for future orders.
Plan limitations
CRM search is available on all plans, but the depth of search varies:
- Starter: Limited search (basic contact lookup).
- Pro and Enterprise: Full search with deal linking and attribution capabilities.
