Creating Letter Templates

Letter templates let you include a personalized note with sample shipments. You can create up to 6 templates, each with different messaging for different situations.

How to create a letter template

  1. Go to Orders > Letter Templates in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create Template.
  3. Give the template a name (e.g., “New Prospect Intro”, “Trade Show Follow-up”).
  4. Write the letter content using the HTML editor. You can format text with headings, bold, lists, and links.
  5. Insert variable placeholders where you want personalized content.
  6. Save the template.

Available variables

You can insert these placeholders that get replaced with real data when the letter is generated:

  • Recipient name and company
  • Sales rep name
  • Order details (items, quantities)

Security

Letter template content is sanitized to prevent unsafe HTML. Standard formatting (bold, italic, lists, links, headings) is allowed.

Limit

Each workspace can have up to 6 letter templates.
