Connecting Shippo

SampleHQ integrates with Shippo for shipping label generation, carrier rate comparison, and shipment tracking. Only account owners can set up the connection.

How to connect Shippo

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Account Settings.
  2. Open the Shipping tab.
  3. Click Connect Shippo.
  4. You will be redirected to Shippo to authorize the connection via OAuth.
  5. Once authorized, you are redirected back to SampleHQ with the connection active.

What the connection enables

  • Real-time rate shopping across carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and more)
  • Shipping label purchase and generation directly from order details
  • Automatic tracking updates via Shippo webhooks
  • Address validation before shipping
  • Batch label creation for multiple orders

Carrier accounts

Shippo gives you access to discounted rates through their carrier accounts. If you have your own carrier accounts (e.g., a negotiated UPS rate), you can add them in your Shippo dashboard and they will be available for rate comparison in SampleHQ.
