Bulk Import Overview

Bulk import lets you add large numbers of samples or customers to SampleHQ at once using a CSV file, instead of entering them one at a time.

What you can import

  • Samples: Import your entire product catalog with names, SKUs, descriptions, categories, and custom field values.
  • Customers: Import customer lists with contact details.

When to use bulk import

Bulk import is most useful when you are first setting up SampleHQ and need to load your existing sample library. It is also helpful when you add a large batch of new products at once.

How it works

  1. Prepare a CSV file with your data.
  2. Upload it on the Bulk Import page.
  3. SampleHQ validates the file and shows any issues.
  4. The import runs row by row, with deduplication to avoid creating duplicates.
  5. You receive a notification when the import completes.

Access

Bulk import is available to account owners only. Go to Bulk Import in the sidebar under Tools.
