Assigning Attribution Values
Sales reps assign dollar values to samples when a sample contributes to a closed deal. This is how attribution data enters the system.
How to assign attribution
- Open an order that is linked to a deal.
- Find the attribution section on the order detail page.
- Click to open the attribution modal.
- Enter a dollar value for each sample in the order that contributed to the deal.
- Save.
When to assign values
You can assign attribution at any time, not just when the deal closes. Some teams assign values when the deal is won. Others assign estimated values earlier in the pipeline and adjust them later.
Editing attribution
Attribution values can be updated after they are set. Open the attribution modal again and change the values. The reports update automatically to reflect the new numbers.
What managers see
Managers and owners can see aggregated attribution across all reps in the Attribution section. Sales reps see only their own attribution data.
