# Updating Your Own Profile

Every user can update their own profile information. This controls how your name appears in orders, notifications, and team lists.

## How to edit your profile

- Click your name or avatar in the top right corner of the screen.

- Select **Edit Profile** from the dropdown.

- Update your name, email address, phone number, or avatar.

- Save your changes.

## What your profile affects

- Your name on orders you create

- How you appear in the All Users list

- The name shown in notifications and email communications

- Your avatar in the top bar and team views

You cannot change your own role. Only an owner or manager can change role assignments.
