# AI Assistant Overview

The SampleHQ AI Assistant is a chat-based tool that helps you work faster. It can look up orders, search your CRM, draft emails, generate reports, and more, all from a single conversation interface.

## Where to access the AI Assistant

- **AI Assistant page:** Go to **HQ AI Assistant** in the sidebar for the full chat interface.

- **Sidebar help panel:** Access a compact version of the AI from the help icon in the sidebar for quick lookups.

## What it can do

The AI Assistant is not just a search tool. It can take actions on your behalf, including creating orders, drafting follow-up emails, looking up shipment tracking, and setting up automated watches. See the “What the AI Can Do” article for the full list of capabilities.

## Availability

The AI Assistant is available to all roles. The AI mode (Managed or BYOK) is configured by the account owner.
